Legend of Tamii - A Glimpse of the End

“FEROR!!! FEROR!! Where are you, you lazy serpant??!!”

Kandy awoke from hearing the booming voice, opening her eyes groggily. She couldn’t see much…seeing as how she was face down on the floor. Kandy propped herself up onto her elbows so she could see where she was. It looked like a dark cave, or casm with a small river running through. She could see the figure of a mutated cat with over large wings and claws. As her vision came back to her, Kandy noticed a blackish hole that was swirling in the centre of a looming wall.

Chained in the middle of this hole was a serpant species Mobian, obviously a snake by the fact he had no legs, just arms and one long tail. His hands and tail were chained to the outside of the hole, and it seemed the serpant Mobian was the only thing keeping this swirling hole OPEN.

“Master Xerusss….sso nice to see you again after ten million years” hissed the serpant, obviously pleased that someone had finally came.

The mutated cat seemed to growl at the chained reptile.

“Never mind how long I have been gone!! How many Tamii have you freed from the Twilight Cage in my absence?!” demanded the winged feline.

Kandy noticed the serpant shift uncomfortably in its bindings, not wishing to speak.

“Nine thousand, ssssir….” mumbled the snake, it’s ice blue eyes darting around the room.

“ONLY nine thousand?!”

“Yess sir, but you musst understand….what with the Nocturnuss trying to break free, and the Kron colonies….”

“SILENCE!! Nine thousand will do….I am guessing most of those are female Tamii?” asked Xerus (Kandy guessed that was his name, seeing as how the serpant had named him this).

“Yess sir, most are female” replied the snake, still writhing in the chains.

Kandy could see the winged feline smirk, slashing the chains with his long claws. As soon as the serpant was freed from the chains, he fell to the stone floor, and the hole behind closed up, as if it was never there. The snake rose so it was “standing up” and looked to see the shivering rabbit.

“Oh ssir….you didn’t have to get me some food….I ate ten monthssss ago” said the snake, eyes still staring hungrily.

Noticing this new threat, Xerus swiped the back of the snake’s head angrily.

“She is my hostage, Feror!! It seems she is Death’s mate, so I will keep her here in case he should show up” growled Xerus.

Kandy watched the snake rub the back of his head, then nod seemingly unhappy.

“Of course ssir….then what should I do with her…?” asked the slave.

“I will open up the wormhole once again, chain her into your shackles. She will keep the hole open, and then she will be un able to escape….and make sure she is facing INSIDE the hole, so she can view the Twilight Cages’ inhabitants “ chuckled Xerus.

Kandy whimpered and backed away from the two, searching for an exit. The snake was quicker though, and soon had the shaking mammal in its large coils. She cringed in pain as he could feel him constricting her body. The snake forced her to look into his ice like eyes.

“I am Feror the Anaconda…ssservant to Lord Xerus…now sleep mammal…” hissed Feror, his hypnotic stare putting the rabbit to sleep.

Now that Kandy was  passed out, Xerus had no trouble in opening the hole once again, and Feror chaining Kandy into the place he had been bound for millions of years. With the task done, Xerus addressed his servant once again.

“That troublesome brother of mine has been awakened by the Gods. He has Death with him, I can sense it. I want you to follow their scent, and make sure they don’t reach my cavern” commanded Xerus, his tail swishing angrily.

The anaconda bowed his head, closing his eyes.

“I sshall not fail you, Lord Xerusss…” whispered Feror, as he slithered out of the cave, towards the hidden exit.

With the serpant gone, the feline clutched his head in pain, purple pupils flickering in the white sockets.

“This is wrong, you’re hurting Kandy!!” whimpered the forgotton Comet’s voice.

The head turned, and the pupils disappeared as Xerus regained control of Comet’s body once more.

“SILENCE feline….this is MY body now…this is the beginning of the end….soon I shall block out the light, and rule my planet once more, as the Gods intended!” roared Xerus, his voice echoing around the cave.

Comet’s spirit fell silent inside his own mind, unable to over throw the Tamii that possessed his body. All he could do was watch from inside his mind as Kandy shifted in pain, as her frail figure kept the worm hole open…allowing all sorts of creatures to break through from it….
