Break my heart
And throw me away
I live for now
But shall die another day
A toy in your hands
With no mind, no heart
Rip me to pieces
Tear me apart
You see a smile
That is really fear
That you'll hurt me
And all I hold dear
A hole inside
That grows by the day
As you break my heart
And throw me away
A broken heart
That never heals
It stands all alone
Through the devil's deals
A tear a sob
An eternal pain
After that day
I was never the same
You see a smile
That was never real
I hold your hand
It seems so surreal
But yet again
Another crack in the wake
My heart starts to blister
And again it breaks
A million pieces
Scatter to the wind
You no longer see me
Only where I have been
Break my heart
And throw me away
I no longer live
Because I died on that day
And throw me away
I live for now
But shall die another day
A toy in your hands
With no mind, no heart
Rip me to pieces
Tear me apart
You see a smile
That is really fear
That you'll hurt me
And all I hold dear
A hole inside
That grows by the day
As you break my heart
And throw me away
A broken heart
That never heals
It stands all alone
Through the devil's deals
A tear a sob
An eternal pain
After that day
I was never the same
You see a smile
That was never real
I hold your hand
It seems so surreal
But yet again
Another crack in the wake
My heart starts to blister
And again it breaks
A million pieces
Scatter to the wind
You no longer see me
Only where I have been
Break my heart
And throw me away
I no longer live
Because I died on that day
Literature
Break My Heart
Break my heart,
I dare you.
Break my heart because it means
I have a heart worth breaking.
Break my heart,
I beg you.
Because a thouand tears,
Are worth the hundred smiles.
Break my heart,
I ask you.
Because I'd rather have a relationship that
Ends in tradegy,
Than one that never begins.
I would rather get hurt
Than suffer through this waiting.
Don't protect me from you,
It hurts more than
What you are protecting me from.
So if you must,
Break My Heart . . .
Literature
True Love
How can someone make me feel like this?
The way my heartbeat quickens with every kiss
Remembering the way you always gently stroke my face
And all signs of unhappiness are suddenly erased
Thinking of how we first met
That moment, I'll never forget
When I saw you smile at me
All my emotions ran wild and free
You were the object, my magical key
I hope you don't find it too revealing
If I ever tell you how I'm really feeling
Because I don't think I could ever stand losing you
You mean too much to me, it's true
I had always hoped we'd be together
I hope our love lasts forever
Literature
The One Heart I Couldn't Break
I took you once,
then gave you back;
I took you twice,
Said that was that.
So sell me on this idea, I said
You tried your best but I receded with dread
Its too far away, and you're much too close
to the things I'm leaving behind
Its too soon to say, and you're too much good
to believe that I could find.
When I tried to find another heart
your smile was on my mind
I was trying to take myself apart
while leaving myself blind
to the simple facts that I knew were true:
my heart kept finding its way back to you.
I took you once,
then gave you back;
I took you twice,
Said that was that.
So I'll try this one on for size, I though
